THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF ANSON ELECTRIC, INC.
In order for you to understand our business and to better serve you, we would like to tell you a little bit about Anson Electric.
In the mid 1970’s, Terry Anson began working for a Zimmatic irrigation dealer in the Ewing area. Due to the farm crisis in the mid 1980’s, the business had to close its doors. Terry saw this as an opportunity, and in 1986 him and his wife, Rita, opened Anson Electric. One service truck, manned by Terry, stayed busy taking care of the irrigation and electrical needs of Ewing and the surrounding communities.
The business grew and in 1988 Hugh Benson was hired. Soon two service trucks were in operation. As the company and service area continued to grow, it became apparent that to maintain the high-quality service that Anson Electric was built on, further expansion was necessary. In the early 1990’s a satellite office was opened in Brunswick, Nebraska.
In 1998, Anson Electric teamed up with Reinke Manufacturing and became a Reinke irrigation dealer. The expert design and manufacturing knowledge of Reinke Manufacturing combined with the experienced service of Anson Electric created a partnership that has been the driving force behind the growth of this business. Anson Electric has achieved Gold Pride Dealership status each year since 1999, has been a Top 10 Reinke dealer for North America three times, and has been a Top 5 North Central Territory dealer since the award was implemented in 2007.
In 2016 Reinke added another tier to their status for dealers. It is called Diamond. We have received Diamond status since its implementation.
Today, Anson Electric is now Anson Electric, Incorporated. The company employs eight to ten servicemen along with three secretaries. There are four service trucks, three boom trucks, and a trencher available to take care of each of our customer’s needs.
At Anson Electric, Inc., we can sell you a Reinke irrigation system specifically designed to meet your watering needs at a very competitive price. Our five service trucks are ready year around to service any type of irrigation system and/or grain bin and keep it up and running.
